Hello and Welcome to Tasty and Yum

<!– Bidvertiser2008217 –>

Thank you so much for stopping by! If you are new to my site, the one thing you should know is that you will find cooking recipes that you will love.

Recipes that work

There are two things before I decide if a recipe is good enough to go on the site.

First, does it work? Is it easy and simple ingredients? Does the dish make us happy? Do I want to eat the whole batch by myself?

Second, if the dish tastes great, is it worth the effort? Do we want to make it again and again and again?

This is what we strive for—recipes you can rely on to work every time and be worth your time, effort.

Goal is to encourage people to cook at home, and to make the process of feeding your family and loved ones less intimidating and more enjoyable.

Recipes are all tested in our own home kitchens, usually several times.

Where we get the recipes

Most of the recipes are developed in-house, inspired Mom and grand mom and by what is growing in the garden, and seasonal produce we find at the market.

If the recipe is pulled from another source, I do my best to attribute the source.

The recipes I share use mostly whole food ingredients. We believe in a varied, healthy diet, real butter and cream, eggs, lots of green vegetables, and protein from meat, fish, beans, and cheese.

Recipe testing

Since developing recipes in our home kitchen, all of our recipes are made with the home cook in mind. We want you to love our recipes as much as we do!

Please try the recipes, and if you have a question or constructive feedback, let us know about it in the comments to the recipe.

A little history of how we started

Tasty and Fum is founded as a blog to keep track of the recipes I was learning to cook from my parents and Grand parents.
