Baked Chicken Legs are always a good choice for the budget-conscious household. This delicious recipe produces the most tender juicy meat with crisp skin for the perfect dinner. Since they’re so easy to make, they’re also great to bake.
When you want to have something pure deliciousness, baked chicken leg quarters are on my list, Which will be bone-in, skin on dark-meat poultry for juicy, tasty yumminess and it’s the fastest dish to prepare that you can imagine.
A simple seasoning of garlic powder and herbs is all you need. You can also make these just as easily, with only salt and freshly ground pepper or turn them into baked barbecue chicken legs with your favorite barbecue sauce.
We need to note that cooking times will vary, depending on the oven temperature, whether the chicken starts at room temperature or is straight out of the refrigerator.
Baked chicken legs should be cooked until the juices run clear and the internal temperature has reached 165°F. Always preheat your oven before putting the legs in. A higher temperature will produce a crisper skin. I would suggest cook with the skin if you do not want to eat the skin, it gives a great taste.
If you are cooking at 450°F then cook bone in chicken legs for 35-40 minutes
If you are cooking at 400°F then cook bone in chicken legs for 40-45 minutes
If you are cooking at 375°F then cook bone in chicken legs for 45-55 minutes
If you are cooking at 350°F then cook bone in chicken legs for 50-60 minutes

How to cook Chicken Drumsticks:
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Take 2 baking pans with heavy-duty aluminum foil
- In a zip-lock plastic bag, Mix all the mentioned ingredients flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, curry powder, and poultry seasoning
- Apply butter between the 2 foil-lined baking pans
- Melt the butter in oven for 5 mins by keeping the pan in oven
- Now coat drumsticks, about 3 legs at a time, in the seasoned flour mixture
- Keep the chicken on the pan in the melted butter
- Bake chicken drumsticks on middle rack of oven for about 30 minutes
- Turn each drumstick over using tongs, and cook an additional 20 minutes, until the meat begins to shrink from the bone and has reached an internal temperature of 165°F
- Check to see that drumsticks are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed
- Remove from baking pan garnish with herbs and serve immediately
- Enjoy the crispy baked chicken drumstick with sauce or mayonnaise
